Little reviews on little (and big!) books

About

After coming to the realisation that I have read a mountain of books during my time studying both English and Victorian Literature at University, I decided to make a little page to share my thoughts and opinions on some of those books. I will mainly be reviewing novels from the 1800s, but now and again something more up-to-date may creep in, so stay tuned!

Hope you enjoy my blog! Please feel free to leave a comment on my posts, or follow me on WordPress or by email 🙂

If you have any suggestions on which books I should review, or if you’re an author looking for an honest review, don’t hesitate to let me know either through the Facebook or the Twitter page or by email at emmasellar28@hotmail.co.uk

I look forward to being reminded of some old favourites, and hearing about some of the (many) classics I’ve not got around to reading yet. Good luck with the blog!

Thank you very much! It’s still in the early stages but I hope to introduce people to a lot of new books 🙂 Even if it just prompts someone to read something different, I’ll be happy!

I am happy to find another blogger enjoying the literature of the past–I have some catching up to do in reading your posts!

Literature of today can’t compete with the classics! 🙂 Feel free to have a good read through my past posts and I’d love to hear your views 🙂

Wow, your blog is great! I found it through the Classics Club members’ page and was intrigued because you mentioned that you read a lot of Victorian literature. I’m very fond of Victoriana, but a quick skim through your blog showed me that I am not as well-versed in Victorian lit as I wish I was! 😀 So many books I’ve never heard of. Your investigation of female detectives is also very fascinating! Sorry for the gushing, this is just too good.

    • emma says:

Not at all, gushing about my blog is always welcome haha! 🙂 Thank you so much for your feedback – it really means a lot! I’ll try and keep up the good work 🙂
